Scott S4s ultra light saltwater fly rod
Scott announced the release of the S4s905/4, ultra light saltwater rod at Denver’s IFTD show, September 2010.
Adding to Scott’s award winning line-up of high performance saltwater rods, the S4s905/4 is a highly specialized rod for ultra light presentations when slick calm conditions persist and flies need to be delivered with accuracy and delicacy. It is also the choice for anglers targeting smaller saltwater species from bream, salmon and bonefish to juvenile pelagics.
It is also a great choice for freshwater anglers seeking a very fast, high line-speed 5-weight for distance casting applications, and has been used successfully by US competition casters. Like all S4s rods, the 905/4 is fitted with the highest quality components and finishes.
The rod features all titanium guides with SiC stripping guide inserts and Recoil snake guides. The reel seats are precision machined aluminium with a type 3 hard coat anodize finish to stand up to the rigours of salt water and resist corrosion.
Blanks are natural finish for maximum durability and wall thickness control, and wraps are stealthy in a neutral grey colour.
