The Rod & Fly ‘Discovery Superlite’ fly reel was designed to perfectly match the new generation of lightweight fly rods.
The large spool produces minimal line memory, quick line retrieval, low start-up inertia and room for over 100 metres of backing. Precision machined from 6061 aluminium with just the right amount of material results in an extremely light reel at 155 grams.
Features a hard gloss anodised finish and precision needle bearings on a chrome alloy spindle. The wide-range multi-disc drag system provides great control of a running fish and protection of the tippet.
Can be set for right or left hand wind, and spare spools are available in two arbor sizes – 4/7 and 7/9.
Comes supplied with a neoprene case that will also protect the reel when mounted on the rod. Price from $199.
