MICAH ADAMS LATEST VIDEO
reviewed by Ian Ainslie

The growing interest in saltwater fly fishing has spawned a growth in new techniques, new flies, tackle and accessories. If you have bought all the gear and are wondering what to do next, then I suggest you get a copy of Micah Adams' latest production.

Australian Inshore Saltwater Flyfishing is an instructional video aimed squarely at those starting off in the salt—including experienced trouties. The focus is on the species found in Australian coastal bays and estuaries.

Over a period of about an hour, Micah takes us fly fishing for bream, flathead, trevally, Australian salmon and several other species.

He tells us his theories, explains his techniques and shows us his flies. Rock bars, berley trails, sinking lines, fluorocarbon leaders, weighted flies —it’s all there.

I recommend you watch the video several times. The amount of information that’s offered while a fish is being landed or released is impossible to take in all at once.

This is not an expensive, flashy production that is full of gloss and short on detail. It is down-to-earth, practical, saltwater estuary fly-fishing in local waters at its exciting best.

RRP is $34.95. Trade enquiries to On A Fly Productions 02 6495 9540.
